Prime Minister announces to receive electricity and gas bills in 3-month installments Currently, 300 units of electricity and 2,000 gas bills can be paid in 3 months, debate is on to reduce interest rates, increasing the number of shelters, Corona Have to compete together.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to receive electricity and gas bills in 3 months installments.  He said that in the present scenario, consumers with 300 units of electricity and 2,000 gas bills can pay 3 months installments, and debate is on to further reduce interest rates.

Talking to senior journalists after announcing the economic package at a meeting of the economic team, he said, "Confusion is spreading across the country that it will not be known what will happen, but I will say that we are not threatening Corona but fearfully making wrong decisions.  We have to make all the decisions wisely.

Let me clarify that when we had a meeting of the National Security Committee, the lockdown had just begun, holidays in schools, meetings were banned, then there were only 21 cases.

Now the country has realized that Sindh is taking this action, while Punjab and the federation are not taking any action.  He said that the last stage of lockdown is a curfew, we cannot imagine the impact the curfew will have on us.  The system is that prisons are filled with the weak, look at the system of hospitals, there is no quality hospital. Government hospitals remain only for the poor and the powerful go out or get treatment in public hospitals.

"If I live in defense, apply a curfew. It won't matter to me," he said.  But how do curves apply to parents living in a small house?  Curfew is the last stage of lockdown; if I was in Italy or France, I would have no problem with curfew, because the conditions in Pakistan are different.  We do not have the resources to keep the housekeepers at home and provide them with resources.

Imran Khan said, "We are looking at the effects of the lockdown?"  We are constantly sitting and reviewing what effect each step will take?  We made an economic package with great thinking to help our business community, we have given Rs 200 billion for the workers, we will also talk to the provinces, what are they helping us on this package?  The second export and industry that will be the most affected will immediately give 100 billion funds.

100 billion for small and medium industry and agriculture, they will also lend them at low interest rates.  The fourth most difficult situation is keeping 150 billion families for families, every family will be given Rs 3,000 a month for 4 months, the provinces also help.  It was also decided that the further scope of the shelters

So that the unemployed can get there.
Has given another 50 billion to utility stores.  280 billion for wheat procurement, wheat harvesting has also started.

Similarly, petrol and diesel products are being reduced by Rs 15 per liter.  Gas and electricity bills up to 300 units will be charged in installments for 3 months.  100 billion for emergency situations.  50 billion for the NDMA.

Prime Minister Imran Khan declined to respond to a journalist's question on a topic other than the Corona agenda, saying that if we were to talk on any other topic, we would stop the media talk, in the houses of the people of the country.  Yes, they want to see what the government is planning, they are listening to us, so just talk to Corona.  We are in touch with the whole situation, this is not a 20-match match, it cannot be a two-month game that lasts for another 6 months.

Iran did not control Corona in the same way as China did.  There was no case from China, time proved that our decision regarding Pakistani students in China was correct.  Thank God that Corona has not spread in our country yet.  If people start to be jailed then more will be spread in the jails. People are being jailed in Italy.  He said that when he took power, the country was in a deficit which led to inflation.  Looking to lower interest rates further.
