Pakistan's Cricket Disaster: Winless & Eliminated from Champions Trophy 2025!"

Pakistan's return to hosting the ICC Champions Trophy after 29 years ended in disappointment. The team couldn't secure a single win and finished at the bottom of Group A. Their final match against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi was abandoned due to rain, leaving both teams winless in the tournament.  The tournament began with a 60-run loss to New Zealand in Karachi. This was followed by a six-wicket defeat to arch-rivals India in Dubai, where Virat Kohli's unbeaten 100 guided India to victory.  Captain Mohammad Rizwan acknowledged the high expectations and expressed disappointment in the team's performance.  A PIA Boeing 707 carrying pilgrims from Saudi Arabia crashed shortly after takeoff from Jeddah airport, killing all 156 people on board.

 PIA's Fokker F-27 crashed while landing in Peshawar, killing 13 of the 54 people on board.

 August 17, 1988


 The US-built C-130 crashed near the city of Bahawalpur, killing 30 military generals and the US ambassador, including President General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq.

 PIA's Fokker plane carrying 54 passengers crashed after taking off from Gilgit. The wreckage of the plane has not been found to date.

 Fokker F-27 of Pakistan Air Force crashed near Kohat. The then Chief of the Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali, along with his wife and 15 others were killed in the accident.
