WhatsApp is now the oldest Google product in use.

   This chat service is in fact the latest version of the SMS service available on every phone.
 Google has finally started introducing Rich Communications Service (RCS Chat) for Android devices.
 Google has been working on RCS for 2 years, for which it shared with mobile operators and smartphone makers around the world, but its access to subscribers was not yet possible.
 Which is why mobile operators are cheaper.
 But now Google has taken up the matter and has decided to introduce RCS services in the UK and France this month.
 According to the website The Verge reports, the RCS service will be available to users of the Android Messages app but only when they want to use it.
 This chat service is in fact the latest version of the SMS service available on every phone.
 But in RCS, various advanced features will be available to users as compared to traditional SMS.

 Like sending red receipts, typing hints to your friend's typing, sending HD pictures and video and group text, etc. It doesn't even have a text limit like SMS.
 It will basically work for Android devices like Apple's message but it will not be available at end to end encryption, while this service will not work without a phone number, ie phone devices will be required.
 According to Google, it may be introduced to other countries at some point in the coming months following the initial trial.
 It may be recalled that Google introduced Android messages in this regard last year.
 The purpose of which is to give users a chance to get an early glimpse of the RCS and to use it instead of the standard SMS app on their phone.
 So far, Google has signed agreements with 55 mobile operators, 11 smartphone maker companies, and Microsoft operating system RCS for RCS.
 Simply put, Google wants to fill its new platform with all the features of WhatsApp and Messenger.
 SMS is a service of 160 characters that has existed for decades, but today's phones are more powerful and users demand more features and this is what has made WhatsApp and Messenger successful.
 Now Google wants to push them through this new service, which will include Google's digital assistant services, among other features.
