A special meeting of the Board of Governors of Cadet College Petaro was held at the Chief Minister's House, led by President Asif Ali Zardari. YouTube has introduced a new feature 'On the Rise' to popularize users who create new channels.
According to a press release, YouTube has announced the launch of a program to popularize channels with more than 1,000 subscribers.
"From today, we will highlight the creators who are 'on the rise' in a new section of our trending tab in Pakistan," a YouTube press release said.
The press release stated that a different criator will be highlighted every week and the account will be featured on YouTube trending throughout the day with the 'Curry Actor on the Rise' badge.
According to the press release, any creator with more than 1,000 subscribers will be eligible to feature on the platform, under the new feature 'On the Rise', the crackers will be highlighted on the basis of a number of factors, but these factors will be above the range of views, watchtime and increasing subscribers.
YouTube adds that the feature will be introduced in more languages in the future.
